Fall Favourite: Marini Naturals Goodbye Tangles Leave-in Conditioner

Summer is almost drawing to a close (depending on what part of the world you are in), and fall is creeping in. During the fall, the leaves are not the only thing expected to drop. So is the temperature. And as it gets colder, we should take more initiative in keeping our curls moisturized.

That is why I wanted to stock up on a leave-in conditioner for this upcoming fall. I was looking for a product that would bring my curls back to life in the unfavourable weather that is yet to come.

After extensive research, I settled on the Marini Naturals Goodbye Tangles Leave-In Conditioner. I had heard so much about their products, and I had even gotten the chance to interview the founder and CEO, Michelle Ntalami. The brown packaging brings to mind all the fall colours; the yummy, warm shades of brown. To say I was excited to try this product when it was gifted to me by a relative is an understatement.

Here is my product review of the Marini Naturals Goodbye Tangles Leave-in Conditioner:

My Opinion

Before making use of it, I pre-shampooed with coconut oil, cleansed my scalp with a shampoo, and deep conditioned with the Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner. After rinsing out my deep conditioner, I air dried my hair for about half an hour or so. I proceeded to slather the leave-in conditioner onto my strands starting from the ends to the roots. Then I followed it up with coconut oil and a little bit of solid shea butter. Finally, I braided my hair to last me until the next wash day.

So did it live up to your expectations?

Absolutely! Here is what I liked most about it:

  • The impeccable slip. Lessens tangles and cuts down my detangling time in half.
  • The runny consistency. Can easily be squeezed out of the bottle.
  • It’s light weightedness. It does not weigh my strands down.
  • The formulation. A combination of all the common ingredients recommended for curly hair such as aloe vera, glycerin, shea butter, and of course good old H2O.

My only concern is the prominent vanilla scent. So if scents put you off easily, or you are allergic to vanilla, then this is not the product for you.

Otherwise, I will definitely be using this for the fall months. In fact, I will buy the bigger bottle. Because this is a toxin-free product comprised of the powerhouse ingredients that leaves my hair moisturized and with fewer tangles.
